I am looking for futher information about the murder of my cousin Pauline Amsel, daughter of Jake and Celia Levy Amsel of Durant, OK, which took place in November 1914. Fourteen-year-old Pauline's throat was slit by an unknown assailant who attacked her in her bed as she slept. Was OK wild then, people were prey to lawlessness, or is this the exception? The fiend was never found. Can anyone help with more information?
