I do not have time to do this, but if there is someone who is living in OKC
and would like to transcribe obits from some old newspapers, I will be there
in the middle of Oct and will drop them off with you. The only thing I ask
is that after you are finished transcribing the obits, is that you take all
the newspapers and donate them to the Oklahoma State Archives, or the
History Center or the Genealogy Society. If anyone is interested please
contact me off this list at . I have 3 or 4 boxes full
of newspapers from 1960's - 1990's, if I remember correctly. They do not
cover all of this time period, but it would keep you busy for a while.
