He married Catherine E Snook 06 Feb 1813 in Athens, Athens Co, OH, daughter of John Snook and Nancy Brion. She was born 1791 in MD, and died 24 Dec 1889 in Abingdon, Knox Co, IL.

William Crow was a blacksmith. In the War of 1812 listed in Capt. Isaac Butlers Company, served Aug 9 1812 to Oct 9 1812.
