Very much interested in a George Sharp b. 1815 in England. Settled in Paulding Co. OH.
What was the maiden name of his wife, Mary?
One record he said he married May 9, 1839 - I haven't found that record.

His wife, Mary, was married previously - she had a son named Henry Dupler Wyman b. 1833 Ft. Wayne, Allen Co., IN. I can't find who Henry's father was - but in Civil War pension records Henry Wyman and George Sharp referred to each other as half brothers.

Even more confusing - 1850 cenus has a Henry Tennis 16 yrs., b. IN., laborer, living with the Sharp family house...There is a marriage record of Mary Dupler marrying a Daniel Tennis 1834 in Allen Co., IN. -

I am so confused.
