If you are looking for George Jackson's grave by Clarissa, according to family lore I was told by his grandaughter:

George died when my father was young, early teens, and my dad went to work for the railroad when he was 15. He was big for his age, and he lied and said he was old enough. George's grave didn't have a stone until his wife, my grandmother, died, because the family couldn't afford it.

According to my memory:

I went with my grandmother, George's grandaughter, out to the cemetary one spring. I may have gone every spring before we moved away, but I only remember the once. According to my memory, we put flowers on both graves.

I spoke via email with the man who was in charge of the relocation of the graves about 2000. He stated George was never buried in that cemetary, ever, and believe him, it was his job to know who was bured there. Not only that, there was no evidence when they dug up the graves anyone had been buried beside Clarissa.

After that conversation, I tried to locate George via online research with no success.
