Dear List,
I would like to share information with anyone who has information on
Dolly Malone & Charles Sumpter. I will list some info I have on them:
1. Dolly E. Malone was born 28 Jan. 1865, Clay Co. IL
Also known as Mary Elizabeth. Dolly must have been a nickname.
2. Dolly married Charles H. Sumpter, 19 May 1880 (Lawrence Co. OH,
Marriage Book 123, pg. 28). She is listed as Elizabeth D. Malone and was
15 years of age; her father, Michael Malone, gave permission for her
marriage.
3. Chester Miller in his book, Henry Miller and descendants of Lawrence
Co. OH
states that Dolly and Charles had two children, Mary E. Sumpter
and Johnny Sumpter; and perhaps another one.

Are there any descendants of Dolly and Charles who would contact me?

Dolly was my grandfather, Daniel E. Malone's youngest sister.
