Subject: [L'wrence] Lawrence County Genealogy meeting and 1990 History reprint

The July meeting of the Lawrence County Genealogical Society will be Tuesday
July 2nd, 6:30 PM at Briggs Library, Ironton.

Progress on the new history will be assessed, and Carrie Eldridge, a
proficient local cartographer, will speak on, the United States Canal
Systems and the Westard Migration.

Anyone who didn't get their history stories turned in or mailed last week,
can do so at the meeting. If you are working on them but have a problem,
come out and we will help you.

THE REPRINTS OF THE 1990 HISTORY ARE ON THE WAY AND SHOULD BE HERE BY FRIDAY.
Publishers Rep called about 6 Monday to tell us the books had been shipped
via American Freightways, and that we could expect delivery as early as
Wednesday.
If you have been waiting, now is the time to dig out your money, because we
need to sell about 125 of them quickly.
