Hi Denise,
Sorry, but births aren't recorded in the newspaper, only a small handful of
marriages and deaths. Most frequently following a major battle they list
the area dead by regiment and company. There are numerous articles about
Gallia and Lawrence County boys in the war though. If you all are
interested I can send in some things pertinent to Lawrence County as I find
them. Would that be acceptable with the Lawrence County list rules?
