Does anyone remember where my grandfather Wendell Willis lived ( up on top of the hill at the bottom of Hamden hill)? Ok when I was a little girl we used to go behind the house through a stand of pine trees walk the "dirt road". If we went left we went to Doc Grady's house where the trail rides were held. If we went to the right which we always did the dirt road ended into the woods. Before the road ended we cut through the woods on another trail and ended up at Bundy Cemetery. On the way through the woods we would come upon a chimney and fire place standing. That was all that was left of the house. I want to know who owned the house and how long ago. I have tried looking at property maps but I get no where mainly because I really don't know exactly where it was except on the way to Bundy Cemetery. This would have been in the early 60's.
