Thanks for this info. I think my DeLay ancestors were in Jackson Co.
prior to 1830. In fact, it seems there is a DeLay marriage in the
1820's in Jackson. I'll need to pull my files and double check.
Again, I appreciate the info you've posted about re-establishing the
First Families of Jackson Co.
