Yes, I have Lots of ancestors in Jackson Co....SCURLOCK.

One that I have been tracking for a long time is a William Scurlock (from NC)
who was suppose to have been married to Grace Long and/or Mary Short BEFORE
he gets to OH and marries a widow Sarah "Sally" Humphries Long in Gallia Co.
Both of them disappear...no record of death and trying to check divorces but
you know how that's like in Jackson Co. However, 2 lines Claim this William
Scurlock...so finding Mary Short's are important. So far I have 2 but neither
fit the picture...so always looking around. The SCURLOCK/POOR line are all
throughout Jackson County. They arrived from NC about 1806-1808.
