Subject: conflict between cemetery inscriptions
Date: Fri, 8 Jul 2005 10:06:30 -0700 (PDT)
Hi everybody,
I have a bit of dilemma here. I came across a couple
of cemetery inscriptions for a child of Annette
Coolidge and her first husband, Joshua Marshall, that
conflict with each other. I found one in Amrine
Cemetery in Paris Township, Union County, OH, for a
Martha Jane Marshall, who died 11 June 1846 at the age
of 15 months, 27 days. But there's also mention of a
Marietta J. Marshall in Oakdale Cemetery in
Marysville, Union County, OH. Like Martha Jane,
Marietta also died 11 June 1846, but at the age of 1
year, 3 months, 2 days. That would that two girls
have been born almost a month apart. I don't see how
that could possible. Is there any way telling which
one is the right one?
Sincerely,
Don Coolidge
