I posted a question to this site earlier about famiilies coming to the ohio
valley and what areas it covered.

I would like to add t hat I am researching the MUMMEY surname. MUMMEY has
also been spelled MUMMA/MUMMIE/MUMY/MUMMY/MUMMI etc. My 3 great grandfather
was George and his wife was Barbary or Barbara. Have found it spelled both
ways. We believe they came to Ohio sometime between 1799 and 1803.

would sks please do a look up in your books if you have any. I would really
appreciate all help.
