Somebody forwarded this message to me, so I have just subscribed to
this list. I am researching my Wollam line that went from Berkeley Co.
(W)VA to Columbiana Co, OH in the early 1800s. My branch, along with a
number of family members, moved to Mercer and Auglaize counties OH
around mid-century. Other counties involved are Fairfield and
Jefferson OH.
My line from my grandfather: Park Fields Wollam, s/o Roy Hiram; s/o
Hiram Spahr; s/o Alfred, s/o Jacob Andrew, s/o (Johann) Balzer, s/o
Jacob the elder. The name is usally Wollam, but also Woolam, Woolem
and Wolan.
I am interested in corresponding with anyone researching this line,
and I'm looking for copies of correspondence to George H. Wollam
around the time of the 1908 Wollam reunion in Ada, OH.
