Ohio speak? I asked my 7th generation Texan husband to translate the
pincil message from earlier.......he still can't understand what my
problem is with the language!
One of the funniest moments in my young life, many years ago, was at
the University of Dayton, when a young man from New Jersey started
making fun of my Ohio accent. At least I think that's what he was
doing....he was a little hard to understand!
I really miss the diversity and the local idioms, which seem to be
disappearing with the help of TV.....everyone sounds alike!
