I am looking for any information on my GGF James McConnell who was an
attorney in Moundsville during the period 1870-1880. Married to Mary E
McConnell and they had five children. He was last shown on the 1870 census
and on the 1880 census Mary E was shown as HOH. From that time on I can
find nothing on James, no death certificate, no will, no land transactions
in Moundsville. Any information will be appreciated.
