I just fund out that my husband's great-grandmother, Mary A. Hixson
(unknown maiden name--sorry) was born about 1801-1802 in Hocking
County, Ohio. I don't know where. I hope that someone else is studying
this name in Hocking County?

Mary A. Hixson was married to L. B. Hixson. In the 1850 census they
were living in Norwich Twp in Franklin County at or near Hilliard
Station.

By the 1860, LB was deceased. Mary A was still living in Franklin
County, at Hilliard Station with her children, Mary Jane, Ellen &
Lorenzo.

Her daughter, Mary Jane Hixson married George Atherton about 1874.
