The Fairfield County Chapter presented one seminar this past Saturday. I'm
sure there are seminars in many areas of this great land.
Everyone can not attend each and every event. What the Fairfield County
Chapter did was to provide, for those who could attend, one gathering for
the dissemination of information and the sharing of ideas.
Rhonda provided some insight into this great hobby called genealogy. Some of
which I could use and some of which I could not. But, that is the purpose of
seminars.
For those who were unable to attend, other such events are available, at
many different times at many different locations. No doubt there will be an
event in your locale for your pleasure at some future time.
If you are in the Lancaster area, please drop a note to the genealogy
society and indicate when you would like to see another seminar and provide
an idea of what you would like to hear about. If you are not in the
Lancaster area, perhaps there is an Ohio Genealogical Society chapter close
to you. Contact them to see what is happening in your area. Or yet another,
contact a library or historical society in your area. Many of these
organizations would be more than happy to hear your suggestions for
programs.
