I am looking at the administrative papers of my ancestor, Jacob Berst,
who died in Clermont County in late 1859 or early 1860.

The bills were paid in this order: (does anyone recognize a cemetery,
funeral director, a doctor, etc from this list?)

Fitch Brothers $15
DR. C. SPENCE $12.32
Geo. L. Swing $20.00

Joseph Adeloff
(probably a relative of
his 2nd wife) $30.00

I have not been able to find a record of death, but I wonder if the
Clermont Courier (1859-60) is indexed and if so, where it is
available?
