Even though you write about WOOD and not WOODS I checked into
Richey-Woods-Baum and find no Manning. The WOODS migration fits your WOOD
migration. RWB contains descendants of James WOODS son of Samuel WOODS. It
is possible that there were some other WOODS in the area at the same time.
James Woods children were born between 1806 and 1825.
