Monday January 7, The Cuyahoga Valley Genealogy Society will hold their
meeting at 7:00 p.m. in the Independence Civic Center at 6363 Selig
Blvd., Independence. Rose Wolf, a former librarian, who has worked in
several European countries and in Japan as well as the United States,
will tell us about Elder Hostel Genealogy.

Wednesday January 16, The Cuyahoga-West Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical
Society will hold their meeting at 7:30 p.m. in the Westlake United
Methodist Church at 27650 Center Ridge road, Westlake. The program will
be New Year's Resolution Roundtable and Installation of Officers.

Saturday January 19, CAGG will hold their meeting at 9:30 a.m. in the
Fairview Park Library at 21255 Lorain Road, Fairview Park. The morning
program will be Organizing Your Stuff: Do you have tons of information
scattered here, there, and everywhere?? Well, hopefully, we will help you
get more organized with some plans, ideas, tips, and tricks for
organizing paperwork, documents, files, images and all that other good
stuff. The afternoon session, Computer Fundamentals, will be File
Management and Handling: This will cover some more specific items on the
morning's file ideas. Plus, who knows what else!! Remember to bring your
questions and suggestions!

Sunday January 20, Brooklyn Genealogy Club will hold their meeting at
2:00 p.m. in the Brooklyn Library at 4480 Ridge Road, Brooklyn. The
topic will be "Colonial Migration Patters: A look at the Settlement of
North America Prior to the American Revolution by James F. Caccamo.
