Thanks Bernie~
Checked out some of the family even though I had the records. I
found that in all of them, no parents names, addresses or occupations are listed
as they are in Irish/English Civil records. Only name of groom, bride, that they
were of age. These were in the 19th century.
I had a copy in the files of my parents marriage license of 1935 which did
have my grandparents names which included my grandmother's maiden name. This
was a find for us because we were establishing dual citizenship. Had to be able
to directly trace back to immigrant grandparent. My Gran's maiden name was
listed absolutely incorrect on all records but this particular license!!! Not
just a misspelling, total wrong surname! Now the lady had a lovely Mayo brogue
which was not all that difficult to understand. Have no idea why this
happened!?!
A few to the Left side had no data but the phrase "Do Not
Publish" Can't figure the reason for this.

For those that have a subscription to the basic US collection at
Ancestry.com, the Cuyahoga Cty marriage index and most of the actual
records have been added to their database.
http://search.ancestry.com/search/db.aspx?dbid=1876 This has saved me
many trips to the Franklin Archives and Fairview Library. Full records
with parents names, addresses, occupations etc. start around 1900. I
believe they have 1876-1951 records online and some indexes through
2007.
Happy Hunting,
Bernie McCafferty

Dennis,
Yes, a member of my genealogy group talked about that problem. We're not
sure what's wrong at the moment.
