Deceased Name: VETTER, ELEANOR M.
SURPRISE -- Eleanor M. Vetter, 75 years, of Surprise, NY, passed away at her
home on April 10, 2002. Eleanor was born in Mineola, NY on February 28,
1927, daughter of the late Albert N. and Eleanor (Sweeny) Bacon. She was a
homemaker devoting her life to her family. Eleanor was a communicant of St.
John the Baptist Church in Greenville, NY and a member of the Greenville
American Legion Post #291 Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Vetter was predeceased by a
daughter, Lynn Vetter and two brothers, Bruce and Jerry Bacon. Surviving are
her beloved husband of 49 years, Nelson J. Vetter Sr.; two daughters,
Eleanor Vetter and Patricia Trippiedi and her husband, Richard; two sons,
Nelson J. Vetter Jr. and his wife, Susan and Timothy Vetter and his wife,
Connie. She is also survived by six grandchildren. Funeral service will be
from the Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 SR 81, Greenville, NY, 9:30 a.m.
Saturday, April 13, 2002 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St.
John the Baptist Church in Greenville, NY. Interment will follow in the
Greenville Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday, 3 to 5 and
7 to 9 p.m. The Greenville American Legion Ladies Auxiliary will meet at the
funeral home for a 7:30 p.m. auxiliary service. Donations may be made in
Eleanor's memory to a Pediatric AIDS Foundation in a community of your
choice.
