Hi Walter,

The NB ARchives - Brunswick Newspaper Statistics - shows a Charles Fleet
who died 02 Aug 1888 Victoria Mills-Fredericton.
Ancestry shows the Widow Mary A. Fleet with a son John aged 8 on the 1891
Fredericton, York Co.
census; John aged 18, Tanner, on 1901 Fredericton (written as FLETT on
1901 census) with his
widowed mother.
There was another John Fleet aged 9 on the 1891 Saint John census but his
parents were William &
Mary Fleet.
The 1911 Fredericton census has the various older children married - but
John is not one of them
nor is he living with any of his siblings nor are his younger siblings
found.
I did see John's brother Leonard's late birth registration applied for when
an adult but nothing
for John.
If John died aft the 1901, this whole time period of late 1800s & early
1900s is a gray area
where records are concerned.
