Charles was great-grandson of Thomas ^4 Conklin [1704-1793] of Huntington.

d. 25 September 1893 - Middletown, Orange County, N. Y.
died at the Middletown Asylum - at the time mental patients from the Suffolk County Poor House in Yaphank & the Town "poor farms" in Suffolk County were being sent to Middletown.
