To: Listers,

I learned about Olga Penttinen“s background state. She was born on year of
1897 or 1898, when she emigrated to NY, 1914 from Finland. She was 16 years
old at that time, when she saw her sister Tyyne Penttinen who lived in
Brooklyn. Tyyne lived in Brooklyn for few years, before she had moved to Bayonne,
NJ.

It looks like, either Olga died immediately before 1920 or stayed in mental
hospital instead for a while until 1930. I have no idea if she died before
1940, it should be.

I learned that Olga was "crazy" which she could be an insane patient. She
was sent to mental hospital probably. I thought earlier that she died
immediatelly after she arrived in America. Later, I realized that she probably was in
mental hospital instead.

Recently, I learned that her name is listed Olga Bendtina in 1920 and 1930
census of Kings Park, Smithtown, Suffolk County, New York. I realized that
Bendtina sounds much like Penttinen, if it makes sense to you. Bendtina is not
Finnish surname, athough she is from Finland. Let me know. Her background is
pretty match with some of my records for Olga Penttinen. I hope that she is
right person.

I need help. I do appreciate, if please , would anyone who is willing to
check for her death records to see if she died at mental hospital in Suffolk
County?

Just in case, check on varied last names below for Penttinen. Her birthdate
is 1897 or 1898.

Penttinen-Bendtina, Benttinen, Penstinen, Pentinen................

What about if anyone who can look up for medical or register records from
Mental Hospital?

Thank you for your help.

Sincerely,
Adrienne Stefanik
