The NYRENSSE is strictly a mailing list. I started the list back in
November 1998. Wow, does time go by fast! We currently have 248 members.
In the beginning the list was very active but that was before any data
bases were online and we all had to go to libraries, archives and Family
History Centers to do our research.

Now, the censuses and many of the naturalization records are just a
keystroke away. We don't have as many questions nor do we rely on each
other for help and support. So, the list has gotten slow. If you would
like to check out the archives, they are here:

Does the nyensse have meetings? Or is it strictly chat? Here in OH we can
> attend an annual OGO meeting and learn all kinds of thing
