Message Board Post:

I have created a family website called Geri's Genes and have a page for my Sheridan relatives. My Sheridans lived in Astoria, Ravenswood, Long Island City, Queens and New York City. My great grandmother, Margaret was the oldest of her siblings. Her parents were James and Alice (nee Lynch) Sheridan. James was born in NYC and his parents were Philip & Florence/Bridget Sheridan. Philip is from Ireland and as it is only family lore our Sheridans are decendents of the infamous general. One brother, James C. Sheridan was the Democratic Leader in Queens for a time, and another brother John FX Sheridan was an atourney. I will add more information to the website.

A work in progress, more information will be added from as time permits. Please sign the guestbook, I would love to hear from you. Here is the link
