Married Fredericka HANS, worked as miner at Hells Gate to explode islands in
waterway, 3 children John Henry, Ida and Carrie, by 1900 Fredericka is
married to Philip WENZEL with no sign of James/Samuel or son Samuel)
CASEY (Michael CASEY married Mary DOLAN, 4 children Agnes, Helen, John and
unknown, Mary died in 1907 3 months after son John's birth, children were
orphaned, John CASEY married Anne COLLINS in 1937)
CAPEK (Frank and Katherine CAPEK immigrated from Bohemia in 1890s, owned
grocery store possibly Otto Fischer Grocer in Park Place in Astoria, 2
children Frank and Joseph, also related are PAVLECKA, IDLBEK)
STEPANEK (Joseph and Mary STEPANEK immigrated from Bohemia in 1890s, 3
children Cecilia, Rose and Otto)
LORECK
PALYKY (Elias PALYKY immigrated from Galicia in 1912, married Tessie REBRYK,
2 children Stephanie and Myron)
GARBACZEWSKI (John GARBACZEWSKI came to NYC in 1938, married Stephanie
PALYKY, 2 children born in Flushing in 1945-1954 Lillian and John Jr.)

It's time for another Roll Call. We have a lot of new members; so let's
start the roll call to find what everyone is researching. We are also
interested in Queens Memories so send them on.
I'm looking for information on the following surnames: Tobin from 1890's,
Burawa, Sotinsky from 1920's (previously from Galica, Manhattan, Mahwah);
Kelly from 1870's , Fitzgerald from 1870's(in 1900 Manhattan then back to
Queens then to the Bronx)
