Anna,

Exeter Corners and Cherry Valley were in Montgomery County in 1790, and in
Otsego county in 1791. That should help with census research, but be sure
you do a page-by page search of the actual census.

For county court house research of records, I do not know where the records
were kept (what town then or now). Hopefully, some one else can provide that
information.

I am researching Benjamin Ingalls and family in Exeter township in the
1797-1810 time period. We need a list of his children, which may include
James b. 1802, my known ancestor.
