7th North St., in Liverpool, is much closer to the city, meaning less gas and has several motels with decent rates. In that area is: a Super 8, the Ramada and the Fairfield Inn.

The internet lists many; you can google for Syracuse motels. Parking in Syracuse can be costly, so you may want to check that out too.
