Good Morning all,

We know that today, of all days, Vee would be posting a special Veteran's Day message. Do hope that someone will continue her Town of Porter veteran's project. It is a fine example for all towns and cities to follow - to honor all who have served America. I'm one who does not see a need for special days on our calendar. Rather we should continually keep in mind: family, friends, all of our blessings and those who are out there protecting us - police, firemen, coast guard, first responders and our young men and women in the military so far away from home again this year.

Any veterans around the table, I thank you !!!

As some of the beautiful e-mail messages I receive state - freedom isn't free.
