Dear List,
I am wondering if anyone can give me some insight as to why family that
were living on W.44th St. in N.Y.C. approx. 14 blocks from Central Park
would go across the river to be buried at the Machpelah Cemetery
--Weehawken,Hudson Co. N. J. The time period is from 1885 to 1924. Any
thought would be appreciated. Were there no cemeteries in that local
area?
