Elijah Garlock of Canajoharie, Montgomery Co., had a son Simeon E. born 1842. Simeon graduated from St. Louis, Mo. Medical School in 1868. He married there, his children are born there and he died there in 1919. He and family are buried in Bellafontaine Cemetery, St. Louis.

I have not found any evidence that he married here in NY State to a Catherine Bishop who died 16 March 1869. In 1870 Dr. Simeon and wife Fannie Mc Elroy are in St. Louis and all ready had a son William 10 mo. old. An Ancestry source give his death 1929 Canajoharie. That is incorrect.

Is anyone out there studying the descendants of Elijah Garlock that went west: Dewitt George, Leonard S., and Simeon?
