I go to Johnstown every year, formerly born and brought up there. I do not remember in the past years of going even hearing about the company anymore. They used to make gorgeous leather jackets. Johnstown is really a depressed area as is Amsterdam. All the leather mills, knitting mills, rug factories are all gone. There might be one or two glove making shops in Johnstown or Gloversville, but lucky if that many.
