Does anyone have access to the 1915 NY State census who could do a
lookup? I've found Ellen McDermott in the 1900 and 1910 federal census
living at 274 Decatur Street in Brooklyn but she died in 1918 and at
that time lived at 1429 Nostrand Avenue. I'm hoping to find her in the
1915 state census to learn where she lived. At the bottom of her death
certificate it says "per Robert Whiteling". I assume he was the informant?
Ellen McDermott had a relative named Hannah McDermott who also lived in
Brooklyn somewhere but I haven't been able to find her. Hannah was
single and probably arrived here from Ireland in about 1881.
Thanks,
Kathy
