Funeral services will be held at 8 o'clock tonight for Ella F. BOWEN, who
died yesterday at her home, 313 10 st. She was 62 and the widow of Samuel N.
BOWEN. The funeral will be held at 8 A.M. tomorrow and interment will be at
the Quaker Cemetery, Cornwall N.Y.
Requiem mass will be celebrated at 8:30 A.M. tomorrow at the R.C. Church of
Nativity, for Anna J. DAVIS, daughter of Johanna M. and the late John T.
DAVIS, who died Sunday at her home, 134 hancoock st. She is survived by a
sister Ella P. and 2 brothers, John F. and William J. DAVIS. Interment will
be at Calvery Cemetery.
Requiem mass will be celebrated at 9:30 A.M.tomorrow at the R.C. Church of
St. Benedict Joseph, Richmond Hill, for Angelina GUGLIOTTA, who died Sunday
at her home, 116-14 Jerome ave, Richmond Hill. She is survived by her husband
Epifano, and 2 sons, Anthony and Frank, and 3 daughters Anna, Margaret &
Lillian.Interment will be at St. John's Cemetery under the direction of
Charles BENTIVEGNA & Sons, 145 Humboldt st.
Requiem mass will be celebrated at the R.C. Church of the Guardian Angel, at
9:30 A.M. tomorrow, for Mary ROSSELLA, who died Sunday in her 45 year, at her
home, 3031 E. 5 st. She was born in Italy and has been a resident of Brooklyn
for 43 years. Interment will be at St. John's Cemetery under the direction of
Louis SESSA, 102 President st.
Mary METTA PINTO, 39 years old, died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born
in Italy and was a resident of Brooklyn for the past 22 years. She is
survived by her husband John, 5 sons, Anthony, Herman, Louis, Andrew, and
John and 1 daughter Anna, and 2 brothers Julius and John Sylvestor. The
funeral was held today from her late residence, 113 W. 9 st.; thence to the
R.C. Church of St. Mary Star of the Sea, where a requiem mass will be
celebrated at 10 A.M. Interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery under the
direction of Joseph V. SESSA, 6918 Fort Hamilton Pkwy.
Doris Ann GIBBENS, of 4511 4 ave., died Saturday. She was born in Brooklyn
and has been a resident of Bay Ridge all her life. She was a member of the
R.C. Church of St. Michael, 42 st. & 4 ave. She is survived by her parents.
The funeral was held yesterday. Interment was at Holy Cross Cemetery under
the direction of Herbert FITZPATRICK, 5409 5 ave.
Ignacy RUNEWITZ, died saturday at his home, 218 24 st. He was born in Poland
34 years ago. he resided in Brooklyn for the past 20 years. He is survived by
his wife Mary, 3 sons Peter, Francis and Ignacy Jr., 3 daughters, Aldona,
Victoria, and Mary, his parents, Mary and Peter RUNEWITZ, 1 brother Stephen
and 1 sister Anna. Funeral from his late home on Wednesday; thence to the
Church of Our Lady of Czenstochova, 24 st. near 4 ave., where a requiem mass
will be celebrated at 10 A.M. Interment at St. John's Cemetery, under the
direction of S.V. SZUTARSKI, 46 24 st.
John ELLIOTT, husband of Mary CONWAY ELLIOTT, and son of the late Bernard and
Margaret ELLIOTT, died Sunday at his home, 185 Nassau st. The funeral will be
held at 9 A.M.; thence to St. James Pro-Cathedral, where a solemn requiem
mass will be celebrated. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery under the direction
of T.J. HIGGINS & Son, Inc., 203 Jay st.
Joseph TULLY died yesterday in Coney Island Hospital. He was born in
Brooklyn 33 years ago, and a member of the R.C. Church of the Resurrection,
Gerritsen Beach, where a solemn requiem mass will be celebrated at 9:30 A.M.
Thursday. He is survived by his father, Thomas and a brother Edward TULLY.
The funeral will be held from his late home, 16 Fane ct., Gerritsen Beach,
and interment will be at St. John's Cemetery under the direction of Thomas E.
CROWE, 155 Smith st.
Requiem mass will be celebrated at 9 A.M. tomorrow at the R.C. Church of St.
Thomas Aquinas, 4 ave. & 9 st., for Annie REGAN, who died Sunday in her 53
year. She was born in Cork, Ireland and had been a resident of N.Y.C. for 35
years. She was a member of the R.C. Church of St. Stephen, Manhatten. She is
survived by 2 sisters, Margarette RICH and Mrs. M. COTTER. The funeral will
be held from the funeral chapel of Edward J. RENOUARD, 318 5 ave., and
interment will be at Calvery Cemetery.
Rose MEANEY, of 109 Rob(g)ers ave., died yesterday. She was born in Ireland
and had been a resident of Brooklyn for 40 years. She is survived by 1 son,
Michael MEANEY, and 1 sister. The funeral will be held from her late home at
9 A.M., Thursday, with a requiem mass at the R.C. Church of St. Teresa.
Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery under the direction of L.S.
SHERIDAN, 140 Rogers ave.
