MARY A. KELLEY
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm tomorrow for Mary A. KELLEY, a life
long resident of Brooklyn, who died Tuesday in her home, 758 East Thirty
first street. She is survived by her husband, William J. KELLEY; two
sisters, Mrs. W. SCHURER and Mrs. R. CROMWELL and two brothers, John and
Eugene HOGAN. Interment will ge at Cypress Hills Cemetery uder direction of
George PETH, 1207 Myrtle avenue.
GERTRUDE C. HAAS
Gertrude C. HAAS, of 9714 Jamaica Ave. died Tuesday, She was born on Brooklyn
forty years ago. She was a member of St. Thomas' church. Woodhaven, where a
solemn requiem mass will be celebrated by Rt. Rev. Mgr. Andrew KLURMAN
tomorrow at 10 am. Interment at St. John's Cemetery. She leaves two
daughters. Gertrude and Dorothy. Perer J. GEIS , 88 Catalpa avenue, has
charge of the funeral arrangements.
DIRKJE VANDER GIESSEN
Dirkje VANDER GIESSEN , of 9321 Ridge boulevard, died Tuesday. She was born
in Holland and had been a resident of Brooklyn for the past six years. She
is survived by her husband and three sons. The funeral will take place tomo
rrow at 2pm. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery, under the direction of Herbert
FITZPATRICK, 5409 Fifth avenue.
DANIEL P. DEMPSEY
Daniel Pierce DEMPSEY, 523 Forty-ninth street, died Tuesday. He is a member
of the societies connected with the Church of St. Michael. He is survived by
his parents, Jeremiah and Mary, and four sister, Elizabeth, Catherine, Mary
and Bridget. The funeral will take place tomorrow at 9:30 am.; thence to the
Church of St. Michael, Forty second street and Fourth avenue, where a requiem
mass will be celebrated. Interment at St. John's Cemetery under the
direction of Herbert FITZPATRICK. 5409 Fifth avenue.
THOMAS BECK
Thomas BECK of 944 Forty-ninth street died Tuesday. He was born in
Brooklyn and was a resident of Brooklyn all his life. He was a member of
the societies connected with the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Help. He is
survived by his widow , Irene: two sons, Thomas and William; four
sisters:Mrs. J. SMITH, Mrs. H. JOCKERS , Mrs. J. FINN and Mrs. William DILLON
and her mother Hannah. The funeral will take place Saturday at 9:30am.
Thence to the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Fifty-ninth street and
Fifth avenue, where requiem mass will be celebrated. Interment at St John's
Cemetery, under direction of Herbert FITZPATRICK, 5409 Fifth Ave.
