You are way off base and out of line. The Wagners of Berne and Albany County were Hessian soldiers and humble farmers. I was just saying they were not related, nothing more.
I did not ask you for a date of birth for Elizabeth, I asked for information on George Bassler. That I might have. I am always very happy to help fellow researchers and would be glad to see what I might have on him. But all you have given me is a name.
Arrogant? Presumptious? That is not me; and I don't see how you read it in to my reply when all I asked for was more information on George Bassler.
