Maria Harris b. 1833 dau. of Salmon Harris and Rebecca Cowell md. her first cousin Morgan Wright b 1828 son of Wm. J. Wright and Sarah Cowell, sister of Rebecca. Sarah and Rebecca were dau.'s of Amos Cowell who was a direct descendant of Thomas Rogers who came over on the Mayflower. Morgan and Maria Harris Wright named a son Luman after his uncle Luman Wright, brother of Salmon. Thus the proof that Morgan and Maria were first cousins.
