P.S. 4 was located at corner of Madison Ave. and Ontario St., across from former
Vincention HS. The school building also housed Pine Hills Branch of Albany
Public Library during the mid to late 1940's, when I attended elementary school
there. You suggested an interesting article. Perhaps the web site it
references would address the original question: what happened to the dome on
this school.
