I believe that they are the same church, just that they moved some time in
the last 150 years. I called them once about records, and they said I could
come look through the books. I have yet to do that. My Lutherans mostly
attended St. John's church, though my ggg-grandfather left St. Matthews some
money in his will.
I think their records start in the 1850s. The marriage I am looking for
took place in around 1854. Names are Emerich and Boecher, and later on a
Schmid family.
I suggest you call St. Matthews.
