Eeek! Yes, I'm quite sure that's my Gideon, only I found him in the
Presbyterian Church, not the Baptist- and in Queensbury, not Salem. Are
we supposed to go through all this in private, or on the list? I don't
care- just not familiar with all this. Gideon married Phoebe Ferris.
Absolutely. There are a dozen Gideons who married others and they are
not mine. My Gideon lived in Salem, because his son, Daniel, was born
there, according to Daniel's daughter's death certificate. I live in St.
Petersburg, Fla, and don't have a History of Washington Co. at hand. I
am familiar with most of the other people in the index of the book, but
I cannot connect Gideon to any of them, and I've done fairly extensive
research. If you come upon proof of Gideon's father, I'll make you a
quilt, and something good to eat, and just about anything else you would
like. Just send me your snail mail address. Wow! That's intriguing.
