Have you looked in Fishkill Landing/Mattewean =Beacon area?? The folks hopped
back and forth across the river, I guess whereever there were factory jobs or
whatever available. .. there was a ferry boat up until the bridge was built.

I foud my Withers in Newburgh for a bunch of years, but one year I couldn't
find them they showed up in a state census in Fishkill...found them while I
was looking for someone else!!
