I am so glad to hear from you. I have kept running into your Lawrence
Carroll during my census searches and wonder if there is a connection. To
date I haven't found any, but will let you know if I do. I have saved your
email address. It is especially interesting as I remember hearing about
Hurley as a child in reference to the Carrolls, but unfortunately don't
remember what was said. Please let me know if you learn any more. Have you
heard anything about Dan Carroll who became editor of newspaper in the
Albany area and is buried in Cohoes? He was my John's son.
