Linda Have you posted to the NYC or the Westchester list?
There is a large family of Protestant Bradys in NY from the early
1700s who lived in both the city and the county to the north and
still have a lot of descendants doing research. I am descended
from one of them in the 18th c but cannot personally answer
your question.

he had daughter Frances who married Owen Brady in 1870 in NYC> They were
not
catholic, and i assume they were episcopal or at least of the protestant
faith as my great grandmother, their daughter, was not catholic. The Brady
family was very large with alot of children, and anne, one daughter was my
great grandmother. she was born in 1881 but i dont know where yet! It is
said
in the family that these Chapmans were old at the time in the usa, and
possibly pre revolutionary war. However, i am hitting alot of bricks. i do
have names of the brady children and years of birth if anyone knows of any
connections. thank you. linda<
