Subject: Alternatives to WILKINSON

Dear List,

I have hit a brick wall in my research and was wondering if any listers
can give me any suggestions. Elijah James WILKINSON's marriage
certificate states that he was 25 in 1898, and his obituary states that
he was born in Wagga Wagga. However, I can't find any record of a birth
for him on the BDM indexes. I have tried WILKISON and have tried looking
to see if he was registered under another name as I have his parents
names from his marriage certificate. Any suggestions for where I should
look next. I have ordered his death certificate but it hasn't arrived
yet.
