G'day All,

This is my maiden post as I only stumbled across the existence of this list this morning.

As the topic suggests I am interested in information concerning either of the surnames CLEARY & ELPHICK, those being the surnames of my Bathurst born parents William James CLEARY (b.1904 to Joseph & Elizabeth) & Dorothy Grace ELPHICK (b.1909 to Edward & Minnie).

Dad had 11 siblings :- Minnie, Bernard, John, Vernon, Arthur, Thora, Eleanor, Harold, Norman & Margaret, many of whom were known by seemingly unrelated nicknames.

Mum had 5 siblings :- Harold, Ernest, Mabel, Sydney & Violet.

Don't hold much hope of obtaining any responses but as the saying goes - 'you'll never ever know, if you never ever go'.
