Pam,
This whole year has been nothing but work to me. I think along the way I have
became a part of the Motel 6 chain also.
I live in Michigan but home is Ohio and I had to find something to hang on too
that meant Christmas too me. That became making stuff I couldn't afford and I
loved Christmas as a kid and our house was so small that I always wanted a
bigger tree. I don't like artifical, didn't think I would have artifical and
now have two. I don't know how much longer I will go through all the work of
decorating two, questioned my sanity this year as I was doing them.
My memory tree has some of my Mom's bulbs, my DH's Grandma's and parents and
ones that mean something to me. Like the University of Ohio State bulb next to
the U of Michigan one etc. A peddle car the one my oldest son wanted so bad
the year he got a new brother born on Christmas eve.
I have one son in the state, my son with the grandkids lives in NE so I do this
for me which makes me question my sanity even more. So far he has gotten home
for Christmas but you never know between work, weather and older kids.
I meant yo yo's made with circles of cloth. I played with a yo yo even if I
wasn't good at it. I had forgotten the netting with the soap like your Mom
made.
