What I have is William Northrop was the 7th child & youngest son born to
Joseph Northrup & Mary Norton. He was born June 2, 1666. William grew up in
Milfrod and married Mary Peck. She was the daughter of Joseph Peck and Mary
Richard's of Milord. Mary was born in 1670. William Northrop & Mary Peck
had eight children: six boys & two girls. The children were born between
1694 & 1708. . .Wm. was probably a farmer. After Wm.'s death, his children
William, Ephriam, Joseph, Thomas, John & Ann sold most of their father's
estate in Sept 1736.
Mary died in 1728 at the age of 58, probably in Milford. Wm. died in
June of 1736. He was 70 years old. Wm. & Mary were buried next to Wm.'s
father in the old section of Milford Center Cemetery in Milford. There is a
record of a headstone.
